Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 2 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
With less than 10 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Description

This property has just undergone a high-quality renovation. The apartment has two high and bright rooms, a spacious entryway and a bathroom with underfloor heating, as well as a sauna. French balcony with glass balustrade. First floor, quiet walkway (no cars) and a peaceful park view from windows. The apartment enjoys the afternoon sun. Trams and other traffic cannot be heard inside.

The freshly sanded oak floors have a white lacquer finishing, and the walls feature warm grey Tikkurila paint tones “Ajopuu” (=driftwood) and “Piazza”. The kitchen comes with all the amenities including a freezer and a dishwasher. Central location at the quiet end of Helsinginkatu, next door to Töölönlahti Bay, Alppipuisto Park and Eläintarha Park recreational areas. The neighborhood hosts various shops, sports facilities, restaurants, and ample cultural activities. The apartment building is easily accessible on foot or by bus, bike or tram.

The concrete-framed building As Oy Helsingin Artesaani was built in 1959 as housing for sewing teachers. The building was designed by architect Airi Seikkala-Vierikangas, and it has been assigned an sr-2 status in the city plan based on its cultural-historical value. The building was converted into living spaces and revealed its new-found glory in February 2008.

The apartment has been renovated again in 2019. Shared facilities include a sauna, a club room, storage units, waste management room, laundry room and clothes drying rooms. These, as well as the building’s technical spaces and emergency shelter, are located on the ground floor and the basement. The basement also has a car park with parking place shares for sale or rent.
