The 50 Sqm apartment provides everything you need for a comfortable stay with a double (or two single) beds, double sofa bed, bathroom with shower, TV with DVD player, WiFi, iron and board and a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea.
The apartment is on the first floor accessed by a 10 step staircase.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow people any younger than 25 years except when the guests are people travelling with children. No parties are allowed.
The apartment is totally private and has big windows in the front overlooking the street and at the back of the apartment overlooking the gardens. It is very suitable for children and we have welcomed many families in the past.
It is possible to separate the sleeping area and the living area with curtains so you have a little more privacy.
There are numerous great restaurants in the area serving food of all sorts, Asian, Italian, Japanese, Indian and French suitable for every budget. There are many take-out places as well, or 'eating houses' as we call them
On the Heineken Square (1-minute walk) is a big supermarket, open from 8.00 to 21.00 every day and there are fresh croissants in the morning at the bakery shop to the right (30 seconds walk!)
If you travel by car there is parking at just €2 a day !!
For people who travel with children, there is a big playground in Sarphatipark specially for smaller children up to 6 years. old. There is another playground across from the Heineken experience too as well as a children's farm nearby. At the end of the street is an indoor swimming pool, and there is an outdoor pool located less than 10 minutes from the apartment.
The apartment is located on a residential street in the bustling Pijp area of the city just a one-minute walk from the city centre. It is well served by public transport with trams number 16 and 24 and metro/subway 52 which stop 100 meters from the apartment.
Formerly a working-class area, de Pijp is known today as Amsterdam's Latin Quarter which is extremely popular for both locals and visitors. Like the neighbouring Jordaan district, de Pijp is full of fantastic cafes and coffee shops, authentic Syrian, Moroccan and Surinamese restaurants, a pub/restaurant on almost every corner and terraces everywhere where you can sit and while away the hours.
De Pijp is also home to the biggest outdoor market in Europe called The Albert Cuyp market, a Monday to Saturday street market with hundreds of stalls selling food, flowers, clothes, souvenirs, cheese, etc. In the side streets around the market, you'll also find loads of little boutiques and quirky shops.
The Heineken Experience (Heineken brewery museum) is 200 meters away from the apartment. Canal boat tours leave across from the Heineken Experience which is about 400 meters from the apartment.
The apartment is 7 minutes walk away is the Museum District with the Van Gogh and Rijks Museums, and from there it's a short stroll to Vondel Park and nightlife centre Leidseplein with the famous Holland Casino and the Paradiso and Milky Way for live music!!
If you want to discover the city by bike, bike rental is just around the corner.
The studio comes with a double sofa bed, desk, lamp and TV.
The cupboard kitchen comes with a 2 pit induction stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, glasses, small fridge-freezer, crockery and cooking utensils.
